Comfort & Style

Mas Vilalte is a small but spacious hamlet situated on the South-facing slopes of the massif of Mount Canigou at an altitude of 920m, offering breath-taking views over the surrounding mountains and hills. Due to its isolated position, no noise but the sounds of nature are to be heard and the most beautiful starry skies can be seen by night: a gift of the absence of light pollution. The ancient stone buildings dating back to the 17th century, have been totally renovated to provide a modern and comfortable stay for guests throughout the year while retaining their antique charm.

Hospitality

Mas Vilalte has hosted a wide range of differing events, reteats and workshops thanks to its excellent and varied facilities. These include a 150 square-metre hall, a natural bio-swimming-pool, a sauna and turkish steam room, and a sleeping capacity of up to 40 people.

“Vilalte is a truly magic hidden oasis in the midst of mother Nature’s paradise, and both of us were highly impressed with how much care and effort, yet how light and open minded you run this Retreat place (this is a rare balance to find).”
